My artwork is inspired by history, science & technology, oral storytelling, and the natural world. I work with traditional media and techniques, favouring watercolour, gouache, pencils, and pen & ink. My historical research is focused on Cold War Canada. In both my artistic and scholarly work I explore themes of comfort and threat, examining and playing with the connections between the two in times of anxiety.
